Speldhurst Association of Men (SAM)

SAM is a group of men who meet once a month (on the third Tuesday of each month), for some social activity such as ten pin bowling or to visit a place of interest. Our meetings always end with a pub lunch. We are not connected to any other village institution and have no religious or political affiliations. Our wives and friends are invited to join us at some of our events.

Membership is open to any man who either lives in Speldhurst or has some connection with the village. As our meetings are held during the day our membership is primarily drawn from men in their 50s or older who have retired from full time employment.
